12. Rising from Ruku’
Upon rising from the position of bowing back to the standing posture, it is preferred to loudly proclaim the following three benedictions:
1) While rising, say:
Transliteration: Sami’ Allahu-liman hamidah.
(Abu Hurairah in Ahmad, Al-Bukhari, and Muslim)
Translation: Allah hears him who praise Him.
2) Upon standing straight, say:

Application of Islamic Law And Extremism
A wise person recognizes that the word “extreme” has relative meanings. What could be extreme to one person might be lenient to another. Even in the same country, it changes from time to time. There was a time when some American states considered capital punishment as an extreme punishment, which should be abolished from the law. But now it seems like some of these states are going back to the capital punishment.
Then how can we define extremism?

9. Recite Additional Portions of the Quraan
After reciting Surah Al-Fatihah, it is Sunnah as well as mustahab[1] (recommended) to recite another Surah or selected parts or verses of the Quraan. For our purpose here, Surah Al-Kafirun, chapter 109, will be selected for further recitation.[2]
Transliteration:
Bismil-lah-hir-rahmaan-nir-rahim.
